FTClean Guide

  1. Click “Clean System” to uninstall the 2003/XP/2000 drivers.
  2. A message will inform you to disconnect all USB-to-Serial adapters from your PC. After doing so, click “OK” to start uninstalling Windows 2003/XP/2000 USB-to-Serial drivers.
  3. A confirmation message will appear. Click “Yes” to continue.
  4. A message will ask whether you want to cancel uninstallation. Click “No” to proceed.
  5. When the message “Status: System clean completed” appears, click “Exit”.
  6. Press “Start” button and select “Control Panel”.
  7. Open the Add or Remove Programs tab.
  8. Remove the first “Windows Driver Package – FTDI CDM Driver Package (…)”.
  9. Click “Change/Remove” and “Yes” to remove the first Windows Driver Package.
  10. Remove the second “Windows Driver Package – FTDI CDM Driver Package (…)”.
  11. Click “Change/Remove” and “Yes” to remove the second Windows Driver Package.
  12. Reboot your computer to complete the driver uninstallation.
